From “Queens of Drama” to popular soap opera, “Passions”, Chrystee Pharris is turning heads once again in the new faith-based film, “Steps of Faith”. Being a believer herself, Chrystee is excited to support family, faith –based films. She says, “I think there’s a market and we’re here to let them know that we as actors… we cross all genres. Not just one. I am a woman who believes in God and I think that’s important to let them know I do it all.” Chrystee plays Faith Houston, an accountant who moves to a small town to work on a Hippotherapy farm helping children after hearing a voice from God. She faces multiple challenges along the way but still decides to listen to that still small voice instead of the world. If you haven’t seen “Steps of Faith”, don’t wait – it will truly be one for the books!
Host: How are you?
Chrystee: I am so excited to be here! To be able to support family, faith – films and tv shows. I think there’s not enough and I think there’s a market and we’re here to let them know that we as actors… we cross all genres. Not just one. I am a woman who believes in God and I think that’s important to let them know I do it all.
Host: Amen sister.
Chrystee: Yes! I also have a film called “steps of faith, which is a family, faith type film. It’s about my character, faith, who hears a calling from God but is not really into God… And the journey of fighting through her fear of doing what God told her to do. It’s a great film! I also have “Queens of Drama”, which will be airing on ‘POP TV’ in April.
Host: Yes, I am excited to see that! You got this all down.
Chrystee: Yes, I am so blessed!
Host: And you look gorgeous!What was the process of this dress?
Chrystee: Well, I went to the designer, Dalia… Dalia designs and we had so many to pick from. I posted it on twitter and Facebook and Instagram and had my fans pick out the dress.
