While Eric Bauza gave us a lot of what Unikitty has to offer we also had the added benefit of talking to the show’s producers Ed Skudder and Lynn Wang. Both of which talked about how they had a lot of freedom with the character, Wang going so far as to say that she was such a big hit that the show just made sense. Skudder even discussed how he was hands on in each part of the show’s making and especially noting how there was a lot of opportunity with this character and how it’s a good time for animation in general. Wang told us that it can get a little tough but it’s manageable when there are a lot of talented people working together so get ready for Unikitty!

Journey to a joyous kingdom full of sparkle matter, happy thoughts, and the occasional rage-out in Unikitty!, an all-new animated series. As ruler of the kingdom, Unikitty has busy days full of royal responsibilities. Unikitty is most interested in making sure everyone is happy and ridding the kingdom of negativity, but don’t misunderstand her optimism-she is one kitty not to be crossed. While she may be full of boundless energy and creativity, Unikitty is a force to be reckoned with if anyone gets in the way of spreading her positive vibes, especially if anyone makes her little brother and best friend, Puppycorn, sad. Also living in the castle are Dr. Fox, the resident scientist, and Unikitty’s trusty bodyguard, Hawkodile. Growing up my Dad was extremely influential in providing the best of the best in terms of classic sources of entertainment which has undoubtedly shaped my interests to this day.
