GeekRockTV was able to meet up with Greg Cipes, the voice of Beast Boy from Teen Titans Go! at the 2017 San Diego Comic Con. Cipes was full of energy and showcasing his on screen voice as Beast Boy. He discussed how much fun it is to interact with the fans and be part of the Teen Titans universe. Interacting with kids is something he loves to do because of their passion for the show. Curious on what his favorite episode from the season was? It was “BBRAE” because Beast Boy was able to sing a love song to Raven. Cipes loves to sing. He even shouted out one of the songs from the show called “Night Begins to Shine,” because it is going to be featured in a four-part event. Sadly, he wasn’t able to give us any sneak peaks on the future of the show, but he did discuss how voice acting has changed his life. It has made him a stronger singer and helped him connect with fans of all ages in the cartoon universe. He’s been connecting with fans at Comic Con for over 16 years, which is pretty cool! During the chat with us, Cipes admitted he would fan boy over Alph if he were at the convention. Lastly, we were able to learn about his new TV show called Un Amor, which is a scripted comedy about homeless shelters for kids, the elderly and even animals. The goal of the show is to actually create the shelters in real life. If you’re interested, it will air on August 3rd and you can watch it online!
