While this interview started off serious with a Morgan Freeman impersonation, Eric Bauza brought it back to Unikitty who we all know from the Lego Movie. We now are able to look into the world of the character who has her own friends and foes, one of which Bauza voices by the name of Master Frown. Bauza tells us how he has always been a fan of animation and even started as a storyboard artist but enjoys the voice acting side of things a little bit more. This is due in part to the fact that he and other cast members can record as an ensamble where they all get to have a blast with their characters. It’s always an added bonus when we know that a good show is coming from good people who are simply doing what they enjoy the most so be sure to watch out for that release date coming some time next year!
Your favorite character from The LEGO Movie now has her own show! Journey to a joyous kingdom full of sparkle matter, happy thoughts, and the occasional rage-out in Unikitty!, an all-new animated series. As ruler of the kingdom, Unikitty has busy days full of royal responsibilities. Unikitty is most interested in making sure everyone is happy and ridding the kingdom of negativity, but don’t misunderstand her optimism-she is one kitty not to be crossed. While she may be full of boundless energy and creativity, Unikitty is a force to be reckoned with if anyone gets in the way of spreading her positive vibes, especially if anyone makes her little brother and best friend, Puppycorn, sad. Also living in the castle are Dr. Fox, the resident scientist, and Unikitty’s trusty bodyguard, Hawkodile. Producers and members of the voice cast will give a sneak peek at this new series and explain how Unikitty and her friends will make sure that every day is the happiest and most creative ever! Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, Unikitty! is coming soon to Cartoon Network. | Schedule

I’m a full blown fanboy that is waist deep in everything from comic books, TV shows, movies, anime, and the lot. Growing up my Dad was extremely influential in providing the best of the best in terms of classic sources of entertainment which has undoubtedly shaped my interests to this day. While I definitely have more of an interest in Marvel I am not out of the loop when it comes to DC, Darkhorse, or Image comics as wells as each’s additional media content. I love the comic book culture and when I’m not geeking out I’m listening to or playing music and skateboarding around San Diego, which is way better than New Jersey.
