Team Flash has seen an enormous amount of terror and turmoil throughout it’s 3 seasons on the CW but we now have a few leads on the state of our beloved sci-fi crime fighters in the upcoming season of The Flash. Grant Gustin who plays our main protagonist, Barry Allen A.K.A. The Flash, gives us a slight window into how some of the characters are adapting to life after so many traumatizing crises. We are brought up to speed with how both Iris and Wally are finding it difficult to conform to what is now their reality, especially after the rollercoaster that was season 3. Gustin charismatically characterizes how the affects of season 3 will permeate into season 4 in a major way and so we are eager to know what the speed force has in store for the fastest man alive.
Barry has made incredible sacrifices throughout the show but season 3 ended on such a cliffhanger it’s insane how we have lasted this long without knowing what’s next. Gustin informs us that he has been in the Speed Force Prison for some time now but is back with a more awakened and mature attitude. He notes how this will cause the show to return to a more light theme that was present in season 1 but that initially he is out of touch but. It will be a very trying season, especially with Barry’s now fiancé’ Iris (played by Candace Patton) having to reaccept him into her life after the insane turbulence she was exposed to previously (www.IMDb.com). While Iris understands why Barry made the sacrifice he did it still requires a much needed adjustment phase. We are also introduced to the main villain that will be tormenting our Scarlet Speedster, The Thinker who will prove to be a competent foe who is not a speedster, and so we fan theorize.

Running up against an evil time remnant version of yourself is something no one should ever have to do, but that’s exactly what faced Barry Allen (a.k.a. the Flash) as he fought to save the life of fiancée Iris West from the God of Speed known as Savitar. Barry’s victory was short-lived, however, as an unbalanced Speed Force began to wreak havoc on Central City, forcing Barry to sacrifice himself for the greater good. With the Fastest Man Alive now trapped inside an extra-dimensional energy and unknown dangers lurking in the shadows, it will be up to Team Flash to free Barry from his own personal Hell.
