Camren Bicondova

The foxy feline of Gotham returns to give us further insight to the much awaited season 4 of Fox’s Gotham. With her juxtaposing real life attitude compared to her on-screen persona as Selina Kyle, Camren Bicondova continues to shine a light on the ghoulish governors of Gotham’s dark underworld. Expanding on what Jessica Lucas has already noted about the forming relationship between Tabitha and Selina we yet again see a dynamic duo of strong women. We have seen in the past that Selina has struggled with her own identity and conscience about where she draws the line between right and wrong but in the upcoming season we expect see much more of her own self reflection. Bicondova has a bright future ahead of her, not just as an actress but as Catwoman too and our eyes are glued to the screen to see what transpires.

Considering the interviews with fellow cast members, Bicondova’s warning that the new season is heading towards deeper waters should come as no surprise but the journey towards Catwoman is what we genuinely look forward to. She continues to surprise us with knowledge of how her fall in season 3 was a direct homage to Batman Returns with Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman but brings to light that Selina will show a new form. Selina is now older and wishes to establish some respect or notoriety, hence why she has aligned herself with Tabitha. We will also see how that dynamic will cause Selina to move away from one of her oldest friends, Ivy who is not in the good graces of Tabitha. With all of this breaking news it’s refreshing to see the excitement in her eyes, especially due to Selina going in a new direction but even more so because Bicondova is eager to be more hands on with her own stunts. It’s all about the action is how she puts it, but also how it’s, “freaking amazing” to be playing the role and we await to see just how far Selina will go before Catwoman makes her debut.
