The every illustrious and rambunctious Riddler is back in the unfrozen flesh and ready to give us his insights into on what is to come in the highly anticipated season 4 of Fox’s Gotham. Cory Michael Smith has made a masterpiece of the character and even tells us how his tailor, Martin Greenfield, has actually tailored Presidential suits and so it is a great honor to have him construct the flashy green outfits. After the cliffhanger of season 3 we have been losing sleep over where Ed will be after his defrosting and Smith gives us the goods. Plunging into things such as the newly formed Riddler and the tone in which the character will be expressing throughout season 4 as well as the interactions between key players in Gotham.

After being turned into a ice cube Edward Nygma A.K.A. The Riddler returns to us with a slightly new view on life particularly because of his mental facilities being scrambled. Smith notes how we’ll see yet another identity crisis ensue with the character and with other characters going through the same exact metamorphosis it will be very exciting to see the alliances reform. Smith confirms what Drew Powell has said about a trio forming between Solomon Grundy, The Riddler and the luscious Lee Thompkins. Because of Lee’s return we will also see how protagonist Jim Gordon becomes entangled within the group but aside from all the doom and gloom of Gotham Smith does highlight some sunny spots. Noting how he enjoys the comedy of The Riddler and that there will be more comic relief coming from his character so it’s reassuring that season 4 will find a balance between all the different themes.
