Adam Horowitz & Edward Kitsis

The two exceptionally talented writers from ABC’s Once Upon a Time have joined us in bringing some of the juicy details of the show to light especially with a change in direction. Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have brought our favorite storybook characters to the real world, or rather the real world of television. The adaptation is amazing pulling from classic stories such as Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland and re-contextualizing them to a live action environment. The show’s 6 year running time is commendable and we now are seeing a change in the show’s overall structure and we have the two heads giving us the goods.

We will see our favorite characters move from little old storybook to the big city, which is being terrorized by an evil developer gentrifying and pushing out the storybook characters. Both Horowitz and Kitsis understand the relationship and importance these characters have to the fans, as wells as themselves, so they hope this change is well received and surprising. Feeling re-inspired with the move to the big city both writers discuss how they are moving in a new direction with new characters but taking some of the originals with them. The new destination in Seattle will be a place of no magic, which will be exciting for the characters and fans to be exposed to a completely different environment. Henry will be in a new book altogether and we will see a completely new Alice (from Alice in Wonderland) so we eagerly await the newest season of Once Upon a Time.
