In a world that we already presume will be destroyed lies the opposing fates of determinism and choice where the House of El struggles to reclaim the greatness that was once bestowed on it. Krypton is SyFy’s newest show that tells the tale of Superman’s Grandfather Syg-El, who is approached and informed on the future of his family tree. This show is already captivating a large audience and we too have our expectations high so thankfully we got to sit down with Cameron Welsh, show producer, to see what were in for. Discussing topics like the storyline that it will follow and going into how it actually is not a superhero show regardless of how much it revolves around the most classic superhero.
The season is going to be only 10 episodes wrong unfortunately so most of those episodes will rely heavily on exposition and establishing the world of Krypton with it’s highly destined society. Although the main focus is on the far away planet Welsh does confirm that they will be visiting Earth in this season, which undoubtedly peaks our interests. He also goes on to say how this is a science fiction program not a superhero show, don’t get upset because he’s not wrong, the show is about Superman’s Grandfather who will definitely be heroic but not in the sense that we think of. Welsh also describes the challenges of the show which pretty much already has a season finally but due to the time travel element, the ending may be further from planetary doom than we think. Knowledge of the future is Dangerous, one of or main Characters, Adam, knows this well but he will serve as a gateway to the greater DC universe. This is going to be a good one guys so don’t miss out on Krypton!
