51ynzftyajl._sl500_ac_ss350_.jpgMarvel brings its most infamous anti-hero to the big screen! Deadpool begins with the story of Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds), a talkative mercenary that finds himself in an unfortunate situation that leads him into the hands of Ajax (Ed Skrein), a mutant who deals in the black market selling mutants as slaves. Wade fights through the slew of rogue experiments that he finds himself in, which eventually unlock the mutant genes that activate accelerated healings powers, at the cost of his appearance. As Wade turns into Deadpool, and joins his mercenary skills with his newly founded mutant powers, he goes on the hunt for Ajax and those who assisted in his experiments and crimes. X-Men fans can also rejoice as Colassus (Stefan Kapicic) and Nega Sonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) join Wade in the journey, along with an accumulated 2 minutes of the X-Men mansion and ship making a notable appearance. Deadpool is a loveable character who lends his criticism and commentary throughout the entire movie, whether audiences like it or not; the ability to break the fourth wall is key to Deadpool’s character, both on page and on screen.

With a main character that is notorious for breaking the fourth wall, Deadpool is full of crude humor and action-packed scenes that leave audiences on the edge of their seats (in both laughter and awe), as one of the record breaking rated R movies to date. Following this initial movie, Deadpool has a sequel (Deadpool 2, 2018) and a PG-13 version hitting the theaters this December called Once Upon a Deadpool. With viewer discretion advised, the Deadpool series are guaranteed fun for audiences alike.
