Moulin Rouge

mv5bmwfhyjlinjytyjnhns00ogexlwfhmjqtndgwowyynwjiyzhmxkeyxkfqcgdeqxvymtmxodk2otu@._v1_When a young English poet moves to Paris, he finds himself falling head over heels for the Bohemian lifestyle and one amazing girl in particular – Satine.

One of Christian’s first nights in Paris, he finds himself at the Moulin Rouge, a wild cabaret and dance club where he sees Satine for the first time and immediately falls in love. He and his friends try to sell a show, the Spectacular Spectacular, to the club owner, Harold Zidler. Christian’s friend arranges a meeting between him and Satine, but Satine thinks she is meeting an important Duke. She figures out he is a writer, and Christian and his friends pitch the Spectacular Spectacular to the Duke, who could fund them entirely out of his pocket if he chose to. The Duke agrees to help put on the show, but only if Satine agrees to see only him and eventually marry him. Meanwhile, Satine and Christian’s relationship is blossoming, and Satine is dealing with a mystery illness that is quickly zapping her energy and, soon, her life.

Moulin Rouge! is a fast-paced whirlwind of a love story with a bittersweet but fulfilling ending. Fans of fast cuts, vibrant colors, and amazing music will love director Baz Luhrmann’s Oscar-winning extravaganza of a film.
