Being super is great when the world loves you, but what about when the world would rather you didn’t exist? Bob and Helen Parr – formerly Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl – have to navigate everyday life after being superheroes for years, and it is harder than it seems. Years after the ban on supers, they are raising 3 kids in Metroville, but Bob still wants to be a superhero. So when mysterious Mirage sends Bob a message requesting his super abilities and advice, he can’t say no. Bob sneaks away from his family to go help Mirage with a robot problem, but ends up walking right into a trap. Will Helen and the kids catch on and save Bob before it’s too late?
The Incredibles is a movie about superheroes that came out before superheroes became cool again. But more than that, it is about the power of family and the power we all have to make change in our everyday life. We are all super in our own ways.
