Yes, Ariel was named after the mermaid. And, no that is not her favorite princess (it’s Mulan, but Ariel is a close second). Other than liking most things Disney, Ariel also likes reading Young Adult novels (despite being way above the recommended reading age), eating the non-smelly type of papaya, Oxford Commas, and watching bad movies on Netflix with her friends. She is currently going into her third year of university as a Communication Studies major. Find her on LinkedIn @arielnweiView My Articles

B.A | Comparative Literature | San Diego State University
Some may refer to a man of many interests as purely indecisive. However, Bilal Mohamed believes that possessing deep interests in many realms of work lay a varied foundation to build upon, preferring to refer to those of expounding curiosity as all but the most intriguing and experienced “Modern-Day Renaissance Men”. Bilal is man of many tastes and attractions. A passionate writer and performer, artist, poet, business co-owner, designer, skateboarder, Adventure Time advocate, lover of literature, mentor, and actor, (and is only working to keep this list growing). He spends his days spreading love in the beautiful city and soul-filling sun of San Diego, California, and studies Comparative Literature at San Diego State University with his head passionately buried in books. His open mind and positive attitude towards the world of the unexpected has paved his way to many opportunities, which is exactly how he was able to attain a position here writing for GeekRockTV and their wonderful website and blog. An open mind and an open heart is a simple cliché that he lives by, pouring himself into his work and appreciating all the blessings and beautiful people that come into his life. His plans for the future consist of publishing books and writing screenplays, acting in films and movies, making his way into the world of fine art, and accepting any new experience that bursts its way into his life. B.A | Japanese | San Diego State Univ.
My name is Eddieson. I’m an open minded dreamer that likes to look for new opportunities, experiences, and challenges in life to make things a bit more interesting. After graduating from San Diego State University with a Japanese degree and minor in Business,  I landed an office job in Shinjuku, Japan where I dealt with online marketing matters as well as content creation. Though I come from an international business background I could never escape the alluring call of an emotionally manipulating story, regardless of the medium, that could turn the toughest body builder into a two year old child watching The Muppets and eating “pig newtons”. So long as the story is well done it doesn’t matter to me whether it’s presented as a comic, video game, anime, book, movie, or even an interpretive dance with bananas and jello. After some intense independent study I have not only been more than inspired to join the industry, but brought to a point where I wonder why I gave up pursuing this stuff in college and turned to a course of pulling my hair out before each exam. Regardless, I love stories and hope to be presented with the opportunity to tell my own; most likely through writing. With a fire in my heart and goals set I am actively gaining skills each day to hopefully one day help others in their endeavors as well as achieve my own dreams. | Instagram @BlaEddieBlaView My Articles

I’m a full blown fanboy that is waist deep in everything from comic books, TV shows, movies, anime, and the lot. Growing up my Dad was extremely influential in providing the best of the best in terms of classic sources of entertainment which has undoubtedly shaped my interests to this day. While I definitely have more of an interest in Marvel I am not out of the loop when it comes to DC, Darkhorse, or Image comics as wells as each’s additional media content. I love the comic book culture and when I’m not geeking out I’m listening to or playing music and skateboarding around San Diego, which is way better than New Jersey.  Instagram @SeanPlundekeView My Articles
