Joni Eareckson Tada

We catched up with singer, author, and radio host Joni Eareckson at the 2014 Annual Movieguide Awards – Empowering Epics. Eareckson Tada was so honored to be at the awards show to sing her song “Alone yet not alone” as the closing song. She emphasizes her career by saying, “I am not an entertainer, I am a disability advocate. My organization, Joni and Friends, takes wheelchairs to disabled children around the world.” She is excited to be at the awards show, and is so blessed by the interest in her song.

Who is Rachel? She is a Jedi Master who adventures in Narnia; helps the Avengers overcome their latest adversary, and visits with Hagrid on the weekends. However, that is just her day job.
