The Maze runner and Black Nativity star, Jacob Lattimore is booming and he’s only eighteen years old. Presenting the faith and freedom award, he loves coming to the Movie Guide awards because it’s a “dope platform for faith and freedom type of movies, where we can learn lessons from and on things we grew up on.” Lattimore’s favorite film is “Heaven is For Real”, however he expressed his own personal bias, “we learn something from each film. I wish the best for everyone and I think everyone should be awarded if you ask me.” Besides acting, Lattimore also wants to focus on his music and hopefully star in more amazing movies in the near future.
Host: I was so blown away by your performance. How old are you now?
Jacob: Thank you. I’m 18 years old.
Host: So, what brings you here tonight?
Jacob: I’m actually here presenting. And I just love coming to the Movie Guide awards because it’s just a dope platform for faith and freedom type of movies, where we can learn lessons from and on things we grew up on.
Host: Absolutely. What are you presenting tonight?
Jacob: I’m presenting the faith and freedom award.
Host: Are there any movies in particular that you are rooting for?
Jacob: Umm…. The one kid where the kid is –
Host: Heaven is for real? Yeah! I met Conner, he was really sweet.
Jacob: Yeah! That film…. But you know, they are all faith and freedom films, we learn something from each film. I wish the best for everyone and I think everyone should be awarded if you ask me.
Host: Yeah, we are all winners! To see each other and celebrate and support each other… is great. Now are you acting? Are you continuing to act?
Jacob: Yeah, I’m continuing to act. I actually just moved out here from Atlanta, so I’m happy to be in the mix more for films… and right now I’m recording music as well. So I’m taking the time to finding myself as a young man.
Host: Triple threat right here! The Lord has blessed you very well. Thank you so much Jacob!
Jacob: Thank you!
