It’s easy to attribute the success of a show, especially one who has been on as long as Marvel’s Agent’s of S.H.I.E.L.D., to the actors that are shown on screen and give the viewers something to look at but lest we forget some of the real talent. Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen, and Jeffrey Bell are those who are only picture on screen in the form of opening and closing credits but truly give the show life. As writers and producers the success of their show is incredibly gratifying and we are lucky enough to get their insights of the newest season as well as Wonder Con in general. This trio of talented storytellers were amazing guests to sit down with and really proved their fandom for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and other moments of nerding out during our time.
With so many titillating seasons finales it’s not surprising to hear from the three of them that they approach every season as though it will be the last one and Whedon notes how there will always be more stories to tell in the MCU. Each one also talked about their own personal favorites and who gets a fan reaction out of them. Bell noted how it changes every year yet Tancharoen described seeing the cast of Game of Thrones on the dance floor, what a sight that must have been. While Whedon noted his love for Orphan Black he also talked about the guest stars that come onto the show, specifically Bill Paxton being one of his favorites as I’m sure it was for many fans of the late actor. Even though we continually try and get answers about Infinity War again we are greeted with how it will affect the show but we will have to wait and see.
